We do not have as many female rappers as their male counterpart on the hiphop category of the music scene, now we may have just as much number in general but few ladies do rap and if they do they never make it to the highly competitive ground dominated by male rappers. The first time i heard of this two was on the track Sisi Ndio Hao dropped last year and they did get my full attention both as uprising talents to watch out for and as the female rappers revolutionizing the local hiphop scene. They are back now this time with something even fresher and with a better message just at a time that we Kenyans need it most… with chaos and violence, someone has to advocate for our rights, the rights to eat, sleep, speech, love and well even party. Titled “Haki” (Swahili for Right) is a track by two of the freshest femcees on the scene Miss Attitude Tiziana and Kyki that seeks to advocate for their rights, both rappers deliver a rather impressive flow as with a feel good beat not only entertaining but danceble too. Produced at ATL entertainment I can say this is job well done from this two rappers. Listen to Haki by Tiziana and Kyki below and tell us if its a hit or miss.
