Sauti Sol's 'Bed Sheets' Outfits Placed In a Museum In The UK..

Sauti Sol is one bad that has adoring fans with and each of the band members still manages to have a throng of followers thanks to the unique personalities they have built. Their fashion sense has however been one the issues where many critics including their fans have expressed dissatisfaction with. Severally, they have been bashed whether it is for their net like clothes or the ‘bed sheets’ outfits the band has used in a number of shows or public appearances. While they were objects of crude jokes, they now seem to have the last laugh going by the newest accolade they have just landed. The band was among the ‘fashion influencers’ who made the cut for an exhibition by Fashion Cities Africa which is being showcased at Brighton Museum. The selection process covered Casablanca, Lagos, Nairobi and Johannesburg. The panel made the selection describing the Band’s selection as “Controversial high- fashion outfits worn by one of Kenya’s hottest bands, Sauti Sol” Sauti Sol were elated with the selection taking time to appreciate the honor by stating, “We’re super honored to have our picture and style featured on the #FashionCitiesAfrica exhibition at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery. This is the first major UK exhibition dedicated to contemporary African fashion.
